Why Hannah?

OK, of all people in the Harry Potter universe, why the little hufflepuff Hannah Abbott? First of all she has a sweet I-Will-Believe-anything-my-mate-ernie-says kind of personality, which I found really sweet. I think of her as a kind person who's up for a giggle but definetely has all the qualities of a Hufflepuff. In the fifth book she was remarkably sweet and funny, she was obviously a little depressed over O.W.Ls, but who wouldn't be? Plus she joined the DA, and made huge achievements. Why Hannah? Because she's sweet, kind, giggly (in fourth book) and deeply under-appreciated.
